After middling success printing a metal frankenstein-moai pendant, i felt like it was time to spend a few days getting the process down for some more fun and stimulation wearable art. I designed this earring set and set them off to print in various materials. If they make it thru the process and are sturdy and pretty enough I will offer them for sale and continue making more.
These are 3.2 cm tall, not including the french wires or jump rings.
Panel Bracelet Prototypes. Shown Are White, Aqua and Garnet Black with Swarovski Cut Crystal Accents. I sculpted the initial panel and have made enough headway to go into production. The first series will be produced in the two weeks in AQUA, WHITE, CORAL, BLACK and RED.
Three more sets, including the Blue I promised yesterday.
Bob Style pendants…..the pink one had a mascara run so we will minimally fix her and call her Tammy Fae.
The others were a little more opaque than I would like but I included the others for comparison. The Blue looks more like sparkley Upholstery fabric, the Red looks like Candy and the pink looks like Nail Lacquer.
These are using Hastings Transluscent Dye.
The tiki items have PearlEx Russet micah powder added…sparingly.
This stuff looks like Candy.
Especially the Roller Skate medal.
Latest Tests with tinting plastic, using micah powders and clear dyes.
Also an added fun feature, a concavity to hold an LED lighting unit.
